Making Thumbnails

a How-To tutorial. This is my way of making thumbnails for my graphics :)

Firstly you want to open up the image you wish to make a thumbnail of. I will be using this retouch image:

you can't really make a thumbnail with an image this big, so let's resize it :) go to image>resize and resize the image to a smaller version, i will be resizing mine to 133x100.

Now make a new image sized 45x45. Go back to the retouch image and click Ctrl+C, than go to your blank 45x45 image and click Ctrl+E. Your image should now be pasted as a new selection To know if its in a new selection there should be a dotted border hovering around it. Your 45x45 image should now be looking something like this:

Now you can click on the mover tool and move your image into place. Once you have that click Ctrl+D, that will stop the dotted border. Now you're done! :) all that's left now is to upload your thumbnail and your original image to an image host, and link them together! Here's the code:

Here's my thumbnail, click on it! :D
